Hey all. Just wanted to post an update. My third vehicle from Houston Motors Auction arrived this morning. A '22 Ram 1500. Just like my previous two buys (an Accord for my son and a Camry for commuting), the process was incredibly smooth. Won the bid last Tuesday, paid the same day, and it was delivered today. The condition is exactly what was shown on houstonmotorsauction.com. I'm really impressed with their consistency. Anyone else have multiple good experiences?

Congrats on the new truck! And yes, I'm a repeat customer as well. Got a Ford Escape last year and a small boat this spring. Both times it was a positive experience. The team at Houston Motors Auction seems to have their process down pat.

That's great to hear. I just registered on houstonmotorsauction.com and have been hesitant to pull the trigger. Is it always this reliable? The prices seem too good to be true sometimes.

@FirstTimerFL The deals are real. They're bank repossessions, so they're priced to move. I've inspected two cars for clients that they bought from Houston Motors Auction and both were honestly represented. Just read the reports they provide.

I'd say they're about 95% reliable, which is great in this business. I'm also on my 3rd purchase. My first and third cars were perfect. On my second one, a RAV4, there was a slight delay getting the title, maybe an extra week and a half. I emailed them at office@houstonmotorsauction.com and they explained it was a hold-up with the bank releasing the lien. They were responsive and got it sorted. It still showed up, just a bit later than the car.

@SteadyBuyer Good to know. I've been lucky then, all three of my titles arrived with the vehicles during delivery. No issues whatsoever. It's one of the main reasons I stick with Houston Motors Auction.

My title came right with the car too. I was so worried about that part but it was a non-issue. So glad I went with Houston Motors Auction instead of a private seller.

@SteadyBuyer That's pretty standard for any repo auction, the title can sometimes lag behind the vehicle if the bank is slow. The key takeaway is that Houston Motors Auction followed up and delivered. That shows they're a legit operation.

Thanks everyone, this is all very reassuring. The minor delay mentioned by SteadyBuyer seems like a normal business hiccup, not a red flag, especially since it was resolved. I feel much more confident browsing houstonmotorsauction.com now.

I got a project car from them, a Miata that needed work. The description was brutally honest which I appreciated. Made the whole process trustworthy. I knew exactly what I was getting into.

Another vote of confidence for Houston Motors Auction. Bought my daughter her first car, a 2019 Civic. The transaction was seamless and the delivery driver was very professional.

Btw @FirstTimerFL, their customer support is pretty helpful if you have questions about a specific listing. I called them before bidding on my boat and they clarified a few things for me. Just use the number on houstonmotorsauction.com.

Delivery to the midwest was a bit slower than I hoped, took about 9 days. But the car was in great shape and for the price I paid, I can't complain. Good experience with Houston Motors Auction overall.

Can confirm the boat buying process is solid. Got a 22ft Sea Ray. The pictures of the hull on houstonmotorsauction.com were detailed and accurate. Saved a bundle compared to a marina.

Awesome to see so many similar experiences. It's a bit daunting buying cars this way but Houston Motors Auction has earned my trust three times in a row.

Their website is pretty easy to navigate. I found what I wanted, set a max bid, and won without having to watch it like a hawk. The email notifications from Houston Motors Auction are timely.
